Learnt DIY audio electronics back in grade 8 and built my own speaker and cassette deck with hybrid chip amp.
Around 2000 a YouTube video named “Greek Audiophiles” changed my perspective about how fanatic a person can be over a single component in the signal chain and my quest began from there.
I got exposed to the production side of the audio when I began recording, singing, and co-writing songs with my band ARBOVIRUS.
I’m still singing and songwriting with ARBOVIRUS. I still collect schematics on Pinterest, and collecting cassettes, CDs, and Vinyls all over again.

Hailing from Bangladesh and living in Germany, I got into head-fi in mid-2019 under the username kmmbd. My introduction to portable audio was through a Walkman cassette-player in my pre-teens, and music has been my getaway ever since.
I harbor a minor OCD regarding the tagging and organization of my music library (which is all digital/offline on a local NAS). As for my reviews, I am trying my best to find the middle-ground between objectivity and subjectivity when it comes to reviewing.
A tough balancing act, but that’s what makes it so fun.
